Role Overview

Capgemini is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead and deliver large-scale IT infrastructure projects for a major banking client in Dubai. This contract role sits within the CTOi (Chief Technology Office – Infrastructure) function, a global team operating across 45+ markets and responsible for the bank’s core technology foundation.

The role focuses on governance, delivery excellence, financial control, and stakeholder management, ensuring infrastructure initiatives are delivered securely, efficiently, and in alignment with the client’s transformation strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Program Delivery

• Own and manage the full project/program lifecycle, including scope definition, planning, execution, governance, financials, resource management, and change control.

• Deliver multiple group-wide infrastructure projects aligned with the client’s technology and business strategy.

• Ensure adherence to the client’s Change and Governance Frameworks, maintaining strong controls and reporting.

• Manage smooth handover of delivered solutions to Business-as-Usual (BAU) teams for benefits realization.

Stakeholder & Leadership Engagement

• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across IT, Global Business teams, Finance, and Transformation functions.

• Provide executive and board-level status updates, highlighting risks, dependencies, and delivery milestones.

• Collaborate closely with Transformation & Change Leads and the global CTOi leadership team.

• Act as a role model for change and delivery excellence within CTOi programs.

Financial & Risk Management

• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting in line with client financial processes.

• Identify, track, and escalate budget risks, delivery issues, and optimization opportunities.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and financial governance requirements.

Team & Change Leadership

• Lead multidisciplinary, geographically distributed teams across multiple regions.

• Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes, resourcing strategies, and leadership capability.

• Support organizational change initiatives within technology transformation programs.

Key Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree (mandatory).

• Extensive experience in project and program management within large technology organizations.

• Proven delivery of large-scale IT infrastructure and transformation programs.

• Strong experience working with Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

Technical & Professional Skills

• Excellent understanding of IT infrastructure services, including data centers, cloud, networks, middleware, and end-user technologies.

• Strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to interpret and contextualize financial data.

• Demonstrated ability to engage senior executives and manage complex stakeholder environments.

• Strong risk management, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.

• Highly motivated, resilient, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

Salary

AED 20,000 – 30,000 per month, inclusive of fixed allowances (based on experience).
