Role Overview:

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and order in assigned areas, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for residents, guests, or staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting assigned spaces.

• Change linens, make beds, and replenish bathroom supplies.

• Perform deep cleaning tasks such as windows, carpets, and furniture per schedule.

• Ensure proper waste disposal and maintain hygiene standards.

• Follow sanitation and safety protocols when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.

• Report maintenance issues (leaks, damages, broken items) promptly.

• Use PPE and handle cleaning tools responsibly.

• Provide polite and respectful service to residents, guests, or staff.

• Assist residents with basic requests when instructed.

• Maintain cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed.

• Ensure equipment is clean, functional, and stored properly.

• Report complaints or special requests to the supervisor.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred.

• Ability to work efficiently and maintain high standards of cleanliness.

• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

• Respectful and courteous communication skills.
