Role Overview:

The Carpenter will be responsible for performing carpentry and maintenance tasks across the hotel property. This role supports the Engineering & Facilities department and ensures that all wooden fixtures, furniture, and structures meet Marriott’s high standards of quality, safety, and aesthetics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform carpentry work including repair, maintenance, and installation of wooden fixtures, furniture, and joinery.

• Inspect and maintain wooden structures, furniture, and fittings throughout the hotel.

• Collaborate with the Engineering & Facilities team to support daily operations.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and fire regulations in all carpentry activities.

• Assist in refurbishments, renovations, or special projects as needed.

• Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory in good working condition.

• Deliver quality workmanship consistent with Marriott’s hospitality standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter in hotels, resorts, or similar settings preferred.

• Knowledge of wood types, joinery techniques, and maintenance practices.

• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.

• Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and safety.

• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

• Physically fit and able to handle demanding tasks.
