Mediclinic Group is hiring a Care Worker on a contract basis to support licensed clinical staff in delivering high-quality patient care. The role involves assisting with patient care, managing ward supplies, and supporting administrative and clinical operations under regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide fundamental patient care under guidance of licensed staff.

• Maintain and supervise Central Sterile Supply items in the ward.

• Uphold and advocate for patient rights.

• Participate in intentional rounds and ensure patient safety standards.

• Assist with general administrative services to support daily unit operations.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent + accredited 6-month healthcare course, OR Diploma in Nursing or equivalent.

• Experience: Previous experience in an inpatient hospital setting as a Health Care Worker.

• Skills:

  • Verbal and written English communication

  • Interpersonal and relationship-building skills

  • Basic knowledge of CSSD functions

  • Manual handling and ergonomic principles

  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)

  • Functional numerical literacy

  • Client service and management principles
