Al Rostamani International Exchange, a leading provider of currency exchange and remittance services in the UAE, is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier to join their team. The role involves processing financial transactions—including remittances, cash, and cheques—with accuracy, efficiency, and full compliance with regulatory guidelines. The Cashier will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service, supporting operational targets, and maintaining high standards of accuracy and security.


Responsibilities

Customer Service

  • Greet customers, assist with queries, and ensure a positive service experience.

  • Provide services to retail and commercial customers following ARIE standards.

  • Advise customers on products, services, regulations, and transaction norms.

  • Reduce customer wait time and improve turnaround time.

  • Direct customers to relevant departments for specific queries or special services.

Financial & Sales

  • Maintain optimal profit margins on all transactions.

  • Promote products through cross-selling and secure referrals.

  • Convert walk-in clients into IntroCard holders.

  • Identify opportunities to grow customer base and revenue per transaction.

Operations & Compliance

  • Handle foreign currency, remittances, WPS, and other financial transactions with zero errors.

  • Ensure cash handling follows company policies and maintain accurate cash balancing.

  • Report discrepancies such as shortages or excess cash immediately.

  • Follow KYC, AML, and regulatory compliance procedures diligently.

  • Recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Ensure all documentation and transaction processes comply with internal and regulatory standards.


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a cashier/teller.

  • Experience handling large volumes of cash is an advantage.


Skills & Requirements

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

  • Good interpersonal and quantitative skills.

  • Knowledge of basic computer applications.

  • Attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy.
