Senior Contracts Manager | AECOM

AECOM, a global leader in infrastructure consulting, is hiring a Senior Contracts Manager for its Project Management Consultancy (PMC) operations in Dubai. This role requires an experienced professional capable of leading contract development, ensuring compliance, and advising management on complex contractual matters. As part of a multinational team, you will contribute to high-impact projects that shape communities and support long-term infrastructure development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation, negotiation, and execution of complex PMC contracts.

  • Review, analyze, and interpret contract clauses to ensure compliance with company policies.

  • Collaborate with project teams, legal departments, and stakeholders to manage disputes and contract issues.

  • Develop strategies to mitigate risks and optimize project performance.

  • Monitor contract performance and ensure adherence to all agreed terms and deliverables.

  • Conduct contract audits and prepare reports for senior leadership.

  • Provide expert guidance on contractual matters to project and senior management teams.

  • Manage and mentor a team of contract professionals.

  • Stay updated on industry regulations, laws, and best practices.

  • Support continuous improvement of contract management processes and systems.


Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).

  • Minimum 15 years of contract management experience, specifically in PMC projects.

  • Strong understanding of contract law, commercial terms, and FIDIC contracts.

  • Proficiency in contract management software and digital tools.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, leadership, and analytical skills.

  • Experience working in the Middle East is preferred.

  • Professional certifications such as CCM or CCCM are highly desirable.

  • Knowledge of the construction industry and international contract law.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
