Relationship Manager – Business Banking
Mashreq Dubai , UAE

Mashreq, one of the UAE’s leading financial institutions, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Relationship Manager – Business Banking to manage and grow its portfolio of Small Enterprise (SE) clients. This full-time, on-site position offers the opportunity to build meaningful business relationships, generate new leads, and drive financial growth by providing innovative banking solutions tailored to client needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of existing Small Enterprise (SE) clients, ensuring high service standards and relationship continuity.

  • Originate new SE relationships through active business development in branch communities and networking.

  • Meet assigned financial and non-financial targets, covering both borrowing and non-borrowing customer segments.

  • Proactively source new-to-bank customers and manage the onboarding process seamlessly.

  • Identify opportunities for up-selling, cross-selling, and deep-selling of Mashreq’s suite of financial products.

  • Conduct KYC reviews, monitor portfolio quality, and ensure adherence to compliance, due diligence, and anti–money laundering policies.

  • Work closely with internal teams to provide comprehensive banking solutions to clients.

  • Identify and recommend clients eligible for upgrades to the Middle Enterprise (ME) category based on financial profiling and business needs.

  • Maintain accurate customer records and ensure effective CRM management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

  • Proven experience in relationship management, business banking, or SME client servicing within the banking sector.

  • Strong knowledge of SME banking products, credit assessment, and compliance procedures.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to meet targets and deliver customer-focused solutions.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.

  • Familiarity with UAE banking regulations and market dynamics.
