AD Ports Group is seeking an experienced and strategic HR Director – Logistics ME to join its team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This full-time, on-site role acts as a key business partner to the ME Logistics leadership team, responsible for shaping and implementing the overall people strategy to support continual business growth and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement the regional People Strategy in alignment with AD Ports Group’s corporate goals and cluster objectives.

Lead workforce planning, performance management, and talent development initiatives to ensure continuous growth and engagement.

Drive efficient utilization and motivation of blue-collar workforce through optimized rostering, attendance, and workforce management systems.

Foster a talent-driven culture through performance management, succession planning, and emerging talent programs.

Collaborate closely with Operations and Finance to ensure data-driven workforce and cost alignment.

Maintain visibility across all operations, building credibility and ensuring HR compliance.

Oversee organizational design, recruitment, career pathing, and retention to ensure the availability of top talent.

Provide HR guidance on employee relations, engagement, wellbeing, and training.

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and UAE labor laws.

Lead change management initiatives, process improvements, and alignment with international HR best practices.

Drive strong internal communications and employee engagement across teams.

Manage Emiratization plans, workforce budgeting, and relationships with external stakeholders.
People Management Responsibilities:

Provide effective leadership, mentoring, and coaching to HR teams.

Encourage collaboration, innovation, and high performance across departments.

Identify and address skills gaps and training needs to enhance team performance.

Ensure open communication and alignment with organizational goals.
Strategic Responsibilities:

Serve as a strategic advisor to the logistics leadership team on People & Talent initiatives.

Monitor financial performance versus HR budgets and implement cost optimization measures.

Lead annual manpower planning and recruitment strategies to meet business needs.
Qualifications and Skills:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Professional HR certification (SHRM, SPHR, or equivalent) required.

Minimum of 15 years of progressive HR experience with leadership in a business unit or function.

Strong understanding of UAE Labor Law and HR compliance standards.

Proficiency in HRIS and other HR technology systems.

Excellent communication and presentation skills; fluency in English required, Arabic preferred.

Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making abilities.
