Role Overview:
The Phlebotomist will support Emirates Group Medical Services Laboratory by performing accurate and timely sample collection, processing, and dispatch. This role ensures high-quality patient care and compliance with departmental protocols while contributing to the overall health and operational success of the Emirates Group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, process, and dispatch laboratory samples, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Manage sample traceability, including logging, handling add-on/cancelled tests, and communicating with the main lab.

• Liaise with clinicians and patients to ensure pre-analytical requirements are met and provide guidance on collection procedures.

• Ensure proper use, maintenance, and reporting of laboratory equipment and manage stock levels efficiently.

• Maintain professional knowledge and licensing standards while supporting collaboration across the lab and service teams.

• Uphold safety and quality standards in sample handling, including storage and stability protocols.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Registered/licensed Phlebotomist with a recognized international body.

• Licensed to practice as a Phlebotomist by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).

• Demonstrated competence in phlebotomy across all age groups.

• Strong knowledge of sample collection, stability, storage, and quality assurance.

• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

• Professional communication skills for liaising with patients, clinicians, and laboratory staff.
