Nurse – Air Ambulance / Emergency Medical Services
Whizz HR Dubai , UAE

Whizz HR is seeking a highly skilled Air Ambulance Nurse to provide advanced pre-hospital and in-flight medical care during aeromedical evacuations and repatriation missions in Dubai. The role requires ICU/ER critical care experience, strong decision-making under pressure, and the ability to work collaboratively with medical and flight teams to ensure safe and timely patient transport.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide critical care and life support during air transfers (helicopter or fixed-wing).

  • Conduct pre-flight patient assessments and communicate care plans with sending and receiving facilities.

  • Prepare and maintain medical equipment, medications, and supplies.

  • Deliver bed-to-bed care, including during ground ambulance transfers.

  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and handover reports.

  • Collaborate with pilots, medical escort teams, and hospital staff.

  • Administer medications, manage airways, IVs, ventilation, and emergency interventions.

  • Follow safety protocols, flight regulations, and infection control standards.

  • Participate in training, drills, and quality assurance reviews.


Skills & Knowledge:

  • Excellent critical care and emergency decision-making skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.

  • Ability to work in confined aircraft spaces and adapt to flight conditions.

  • Knowledge of aviation physiology and in-flight patient management.

  • Familiarity with air ambulance protocols and documentation (CAMTS/EURAMI standards preferred).


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.

  • Valid RN license (India Nursing Council, DHA/HAAD/MOH UAE, or relevant regulatory body).

  • 1–5 years ICU/ER or critical care experience.

  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS/NRP certifications.

  • Aeromedical evacuation or emergency transport experience preferred.
