Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Finance Executive to join our finance team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring compliance with UAE accounting and tax regulations, and supporting management with financial reporting and strategic decision-making. This role is ideal for someone with strong accounting expertise, proficiency in Tally ERP, and experience in media or related industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions in Tally ERP, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Prepare sales invoices and record sales receipts.

• Process vendor invoices, record payments, and maintain vendor accounts.

• Follow up on receivables in coordination with the Business Head and relevant teams.

• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate cash and bank records.

• Manage petty cash and maintain related documentation.

• Assist in preparing MIS reports, financial statements, and VAT filings.

• Handle ledger and intercompany reconciliations to ensure data integrity.

• Support statutory audits for UAE and overseas entities.

• Ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations, including VAT and Corporate Tax.

• Support cross-departmental financial queries related to client information, job cost data, and procedures.

• Collaborate with the Business Head, internal teams, and Finance team in India.

• Undertake other accounting or finance-related tasks as required.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of UAE accounting laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements, with familiarity with international practices.

• Proficiency in Tally ERP and accounting software; knowledge of Micros is a plus.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with stakeholders.

• Proactive, collaborative, and able to coordinate across multiple teams.

• Ability to anticipate and respond to the needs of various business stakeholders.

• Prior experience in media, entertainment, or related industries preferred.
