Position Overview

Our client, a rapidly expanding hospitality and F&B group in Dubai, is seeking a Strategic Finance Manager to lead financial strategy across multiple business units. Established in 2015, the group operates four of Dubai’s most acclaimed restaurants, employs over 200 staff, and generates revenue exceeding AED 80 million.

This second-in-command finance role demands a Chartered Accountant with strong commercial acumen, strategic vision, and the leadership presence to engage confidently with shareholders, senior management, operational teams, and frontline staff. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to drive sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership

• Lead financial planning and strategy across multiple entities.

• Partner with senior leadership to drive growth, profitability, and long-term sustainability.

• Provide insights and recommendations to support investments, expansions, and business decisions.

Financial Management & Reporting

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and variance analysis.

• Prepare and present accurate financial reports, dashboards, and board presentations.

• Ensure robust financial controls, policies, and procedures across all business units.

Business Partnering & Communication

• Act as a trusted advisor to operational managers and department heads.

• Translate financial data into actionable insights for both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

• Build strong relationships across all levels, from frontline staff to shareholders.

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure adherence to UAE financial regulations, accounting standards, and governance policies.

• Oversee audits, tax filings, and statutory reporting in collaboration with external advisors.

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (CA, ACCA, CPA) – mandatory.

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration – preferred.

• 7–10 years of progressive finance leadership experience, preferably in hospitality or F&B operations.

• Proven experience managing finances of multiple business units or entities.

• Exceptional written and spoken English communication skills.

• Strong leadership presence with credibility, charisma, and strategic thinking.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a commercial mindset.
