The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), the world’s largest humanitarian organization, is seeking a skilled Consultant Graphic Designer to support the Global Road Safety Partnership (GRSP) programmes based in Dubai. GRSP, a hosted programme of the IFRC, focuses on reducing road traffic deaths and injuries, particularly in low- and middle-income countries, through evidence-based interventions, research, and capacity-building initiatives.
The Graphic Designer will play a crucial role in visually communicating GRSP’s mission and programme outputs. This includes creating engaging technical documents, educational materials, display items, infographics, and other digital or physical graphic content, ensuring alignment with IFRC/GRSP branding guidelines and pre-approved timelines.
Key Responsibilities:

Design technical documents for electronic publication, including fact sheets, training materials, technical reports, positioning papers, toolkits, newsletters, and annual reports.

Develop physical display items such as organizational banners for events and exhibitions.

Create visually appealing graphic elements like infographics, graphs, and data visualizations.

Collaborate with GRSP staff, including the Manager of External Relations and Sustainable Mobility Programming, to meet project requirements.

Ensure all work complies with GRSP/IFRC branding and digital communication standards.

Deliver high-quality outputs within deadlines while maintaining consistency across projects.
Required Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in graphic design.

Expert proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat.

Strong understanding of corporate branding and visual communication principles.

Excellent spoken and written English.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

Experience working with humanitarian organizations.

Proficiency in motion graphics and visual effects software, such as Adobe After Effects.

Command of another IFRC official language (French, Spanish, or Arabic).
