Role Description:
The Compliance Manager will support and drive the execution of the compliance program in the MENA region (UAE, Egypt, KSA), ensuring alignment with global and regional standards. The role includes monitoring adherence to internal policies, supporting investigations, managing risk assessments, coordinating compliance training, and acting as a first point of contact for compliance-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage the regional compliance program aligned with global standards.

  • Conduct and document compliance-related investigations, ensuring follow-up and reporting.

  • Prepare and coordinate Regional Compliance Committee meetings, including agenda setting and documentation.

  • Monitor internal compliance policies (e.g., Code of Conduct, Anti-Bribery, Trade Compliance, Speak-Up Policy).

  • Support third-party due diligence and onboarding processes as part of the Third-Party Risk Management program.

  • Conduct compliance risk screenings, assessments, and employee surveys.

  • Deliver or coordinate compliance training sessions, including onboarding and targeted refreshers.

  • Monitor local regulatory developments in MENA and align internal policies accordingly.

  • Prepare regular compliance updates and reports for regional and global teams.

  • Coordinate compliance awareness campaigns and communication initiatives.

  • Collaborate with Legal, HR, Internal Audit, and business stakeholders.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of compliance activities, investigations, and training.

  • Support external auditors or counsel as needed.

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law; qualified/admitted lawyer with 3–5 years’ experience.

  • Proven track record in compliance, including investigations and training.

  • Proficient in Google Suite and MS Office; additional compliance qualifications are advantageous.

  • Experience in MENA jurisdictions or water technology/sanitaryware industries is a plus.

  • Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.

  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.

  • Ability to work in cross-cultural, matrix organizations.

  • Ideally located in UAE or Egypt.
