Senior Specialist – Data Intelligence

Role Overview:
Almosafer is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join the Data Intelligence team, embedded within the Marketing & CRM function. This role will power acquisition and retention strategies, optimize marketing spend, maximize customer lifetime value, and ensure data governance standards are upheld.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary data partner for digital marketing channels (paid/organic).

  • Build and maintain attribution models to assess channel performance.

  • Develop audience segmentation and targeting strategies for campaigns.

  • Analyze customer behavior, booking patterns, churn risk, and loyalty engagement.

  • Create and implement retention and churn prediction models.

  • Measure and optimize CRM campaigns (email, push, in-app, SMS).

  • Design A/B testing frameworks for lifecycle marketing.

  • Deploy machine learning and rule-based models for personalization and optimization.

  • Build dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc., for KPI tracking (CAC, ROAS, CLV, retention).

  • Translate data into actionable insights for marketing and CRM teams.

  • Act as a liaison between Marketing/CRM and central Data Intelligence functions.

  • Promote data literacy and share best practices across teams.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in STEM, Business Analytics, or related field.

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in e-commerce, online travel, or digital-first companies.

  • Strong expertise in SQL, Python/R, and advanced Excel.

  • Experience with digital marketing platforms (Google Ads, GA, Facebook Ads, DV360) and CRM analytics.

  • Skilled in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker.

  • Solid knowledge of customer lifecycle metrics (CAC, CLV, churn, retention).

  • Experience with ML models for acquisition/retention.

  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools (MoEngage, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign).

  • Knowledge of big data platforms (BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake).

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Fluency in English; Arabic preferred.
