Lockton, the world’s largest privately held independent insurance brokerage, is hiring a Junior Claims Officer in Dubai. This role, prioritised for Emirati talent, focuses on handling and managing claims related to Medical Malpractice and Employee Benefits. The Junior Claims Officer will work closely with clients, insurers, brokers, and internal teams, supporting claims from first advice to final settlement while promoting Lockton’s values and claims offering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of claims accounts, handling claims from initial advice to final settlement.

• Support and assist with claims relationship management for clients, producers, and brokers.

• Ensure claims are processed efficiently, including negotiations and payment procedures.

• Attend calls and meetings with clients and insurers; provide claims reports and updates.

• Monitor claims handling, including audits, and report major or sensitive claims to management.

• Provide claims information for renewal and quarterly meetings; liaise with stakeholders effectively.

• Support team members during absences and contribute to team objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business Administration, or Risk Management.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the insurance industry, focusing on Medical or Life claims.

• Professional qualifications (Cert CII, working towards Dip CII) or evidence of continuing professional development.

• Strong understanding of insurance policies, coverage, and claims processes.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

• Customer-focused with analytical, organized, and detail-oriented mindset.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to work independently or in a team.
