Greenfix Property Care, representing a leading Discount/Gifts Hypermarket located in a high-density labor area in Dubai, is seeking a skilled and experienced Fish Butcher / Fishmonger to join its supermarket team.

This full-time, on-site role requires hands-on experience in handling, preparing, and presenting a variety of fresh and frozen seafood. The ideal candidate will have strong product knowledge, excellent hygiene standards, and a commitment to delivering top-tier customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean, scale, gut, and fillet a wide range of fish and seafood items according to display or customer needs.

• Store and rotate stock using the FIFO method to maintain freshness.

• Keep the seafood counter, preparation tools, and work area clean and sanitary in line with UAE food safety standards.

• Monitor seafood quality, appearance, and presentation regularly.

• Assist customers by offering advice, custom cuts, and cooking tips.

• Weigh, label, and package seafood accurately and efficiently.

• Help manage stock levels and coordinate inventory ordering.

• Dispose of spoiled items and waste following hygiene guidelines.

• Follow HACCP protocols and Dubai Municipality regulations.

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of experience as a Fish Butcher or Fishmonger, preferably in a supermarket or seafood retail environment.

• Skilled in cutting, filleting, and handling a variety of seafood.

• Knowledge of UAE hygiene and food safety practices.

• Ability to work in cold storage and seafood preparation zones.

• Good communication and customer service skills.

• Physically capable of lifting heavy items and standing for long periods.

Preferred:

• Previous experience in the UAE/GCC retail or supermarket sector.

• Multilingual (English is essential; Arabic, Hindi, or Malayalam is a plus).

• Possession of food handling or hygiene certification is advantageous.
