HONOR is looking for a Homologation Specialist to join their Product Center team in Dubai. This full-time role is focused on managing homologation projects, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the technical readiness of HONOR devices in the region. The role includes testing, operator collaboration, and market vigilance on competitor devices. Ideal candidates should have a strong background in telecom engineering, device testing, and regulatory approval processes, along with excellent stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage homologation projects: schedule activities, identify risks, and track progress

• Test new and existing HONOR devices (smartphones, tablets, wearables, routers)

• Support network testing: 5G, LTE, VOLTE, VOWIFI features

• Report and debug technical issues in collaboration with HONOR HQ

• Maintain strong relationships with local operators and regulators

• Obtain local certifications and ensure compliance with technical and scheduling requirements

• Manage homologation partners: quality control, timely delivery, and cost efficiency

• Run BETA testing programs and support marketing or product launch activities

• Monitor market for competitor product features and performance

• Lead post-launch analysis and recommend improvements to enhance customer experience

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecom Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields

• 3–5 years of experience in testing telecom/smartphone devices in the region

• Expertise in network testing, drive testing, regression testing, manual & automation testing

• Proficiency in log collection and debugging tools (QXDM, QPST, Wireshark, etc.)

• Strong knowledge of telecom protocols, IMS, cellular networks

• Experience with type approval processing and dealing with local regulators

• Familiarity with technical documentation, reporting, and market analysis

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills

• Ability to adapt to fast-changing business needs

• Arabic and/or Chinese language skills are a plus

• Willingness to travel for training or operational support
