Gemstones Nursery is currently seeking a Russian-speaking Nursery Teacher to join their passionate early childhood education team in Ajman. This is a full-time, on-site role ideal for a nurturing, committed, and experienced early years educator who is fluent in Russian and understands the developmental needs of young children.

The ideal candidate will take full responsibility for managing and leading a nursery classroom, planning lessons in alignment with the British EYFS curriculum, and fostering an engaging and inclusive classroom environment. The role requires someone with excellent classroom management skills, strong communication abilities in both Russian and English, and a deep commitment to nurturing young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a nursery classroom following the British EYFS curriculum.

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate daily lessons to support holistic child development.

• Monitor and assess each child’s progress and maintain accurate observation records.

• Create a safe, warm, and stimulating classroom environment.

• Communicate regularly with parents regarding routines and developmental updates.

• Ensure cleanliness and safety of the classroom with the help of support staff.

• Foster a respectful and positive classroom culture.

• Guide and supervise the assistant teacher assigned to the group.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an early years teacher.

• Fluent in Russian (spoken and written) with good English communication skills.

• Strong planning and classroom management abilities.

• Familiarity with the British EYFS curriculum is an added advantage.

• Must be currently residing in the UAE and willing to work in Ajman.
