IHG Hotels & Resorts is hiring a Commis I for InterContinental Abu Dhabi. This position is ideal for experienced culinary professionals who are passionate about food preparation and presentation. 🔹 Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items in your assigned section

• Ensure consistent presentation, portion control, and taste

• Maintain mise-en-place for smooth service periods

• Adhere to HACCP and hygiene regulations at all times

• Monitor waste and maintain cost control

• Assist and mentor junior kitchen staff (Commis II/III)

• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of kitchen equipment and workstations

• Contribute ideas and suggestions during menu planning sessions

✅ Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience as Commis II or similar role in a 4 or 5-star hotel or upscale restaurant

• Knowledge of international cuisine and modern cooking techniques

• Familiarity with hygiene and food safety practices

• Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills

• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively

• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
