Saipem, a global leader in engineering and infrastructure for the energy sector, is currently seeking a Data Analyst (UAE National) with a background in IT to join its Abu Dhabi team. Saipem operates globally in the design, construction, and operation of offshore and onshore plants, and plays a pivotal role in the transition to Net Zero through advanced, digitalized, and sustainable technologies.

Job Summary & Responsibilities:
The Data Analyst will play a key role in applying data analytics across various business units, particularly in HSE, Emergency, and Security areas. The successful candidate will support business functions by generating data-driven insights, developing visualizations, and identifying predictive models and relationships.

Key Tasks Include:

• Represent HSE, Emergency, and Security challenges through mathematical modeling.

• Collect, clean, integrate, and analyze both internal and external datasets.

• Develop and test hypotheses to support business decision-making.

• Identify patterns, trends, and data relationships that drive measurable results.

• Create tailored data visualizations that align with specific business challenges.

• Ensure all datasets are secure and compliant with data privacy regulations.

• Select and optimize algorithms using modern data science tools.

• Maintain compliance with ethical and legal data use standards.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• UAE National with a recent degree in Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

• Strong foundation in data analysis, mathematical modeling, and hypothesis testing.

• Experience or coursework in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

• Familiarity with data science tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R).

• Understanding of data privacy, security practices, and legal compliance.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Work Schedule:

• Rotation: 14 days on-site / 14 days off (vacation)
