We are seeking a Design Manager / BIM Project Lead to join our creative and dynamic team in the UAE. As a growing medium-sized theming and design-build company, we’re expanding due to a surge of exciting new projects across the region. This is a leadership position, ideal for professionals passionate about managing design workflows, optimizing project quality, and presenting outstanding creative solutions to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate a diverse 20-person design team

• Coordinate all design aspects of assigned projects, ensuring smooth execution

• Develop and implement best practices and optimization strategies in design processes

• Collaborate with the Head of Design to maintain and deliver project design schedules

• Represent the company in weekly client presentations and stakeholder meetings

• Prepare, review, and sign off on final drawing submissions before client delivery

• Support the design team in developing concept designs, mood boards, narratives, and more

• Ensure all project deliverables meet creative, technical, and time requirements

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture

• 5+ years of post-qualification experience, with 2–3 years in large-scale commercial, hospitality, or entertainment projects

• Previous experience managing or leading a design team

• Exceptional concept design and visualization skills

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), and Microsoft Office

• Understanding of mechanical systems (HVAC, lighting, fire & safety), architectural/structural integration, and construction documentation

• Familiarity with building codes, accessibility standards, materials, and construction administration (RFIs, submittals, etc.)

• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking capabilities

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

• Proven ability to lead projects from concept through to execution under tight deadlines
