Carrier, a global leader in HVAC, refrigeration, fire, security, and cold chain solutions, invites applications for the Apprentice position in Supply Chain Management based in Dubai. The apprentice will support purchase order processing, supplier follow-ups, shipment tracking, and logistics operations, gaining hands-on experience in the end-to-end supply chain processes. Key Responsibilities:

• Process purchase orders by reviewing purchase requests, floating RFQs, analyzing bids, and preparing orders for approval and supplier transmission.

• Review and validate existing purchase orders to ensure requirements are current.

• Follow up with suppliers on order acknowledgements, price/quantity variances, and material readiness.

• Prepare KPIs related to supplier performance and support the maintenance of the PO tracker.

• Track and monitor shipments, log goods in transit (GIT) in SAP, and coordinate advance shipping notifications with 3PL and customs brokers.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree; preferably in Management with a focus on Supply Chain or related field.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Keen eagerness to learn and adapt within a fast-paced operations setting.

• Previous internship or project experience in supply chain or logistics is a plus.

• Open to UAE Nationals only.
