Job Title: Storekeeper / Inventory Controller
Job Description:
We are seeking a responsible and organized Storekeeper / Inventory Controller to manage our store operations efficiently. The ideal candidate should have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle tools, materials, and documentation accurately.
This role plays a crucial part in ensuring smooth storage operations, maintaining inventory levels, and supporting the team with timely supply and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:

Organize and maintain the store in a clean, structured, and accessible manner

Receive deliveries, verify them against the LPO (Local Purchase Order), and report discrepancies
-
Inspect tools and equipment regularly and report issues promptly to management
-
Raise purchase requests on time to maintain optimal stock levels as defined
-
Monitor minimum stock and reorder levels, suggesting updates when needed
-
Provide monthly feedback on supplier performance to management
-
Follow up on delayed deliveries to ensure timely restocking
-
Maintain accurate records, fill documents properly, and ensure electronic updates as per procedures
-
Send delivery notes to requestors and management within 24 hours of delivery
-
Generate monthly consumption reports with relevant work order details
-
Keep detailed logbooks of material and tool usage
-
Ensure tools are well-maintained and any damage is reported immediately
-
Maintain cleanliness and organization in storage areas and with equipment
-
Adhere to company standards of appearance, grooming, uniform, and PPE
-
Comply with all Health & Safety guidelines, including COSHH and other statutory regulations
-
Attend mandatory training, morning briefings, and toolbox talks
-
Follow Lost & Found procedures where applicable

Consistently maintain legal and company standards in all assigned duties
Qualifications & Skills:
🎓 Education:
-
Diploma or graduate in any discipline
-
Basic Tally knowledge
-
Basic English preferred
🔧 Experience:
-
1+ year experience in a similar storekeeping or inventory control position preferred
-
Experience in a multicultural work environment is a plus
