Job Summary

Alfursan Contracting is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Assistant to join our dynamic Supply Chain team. In this role, you will support the end-to-end purchasing process—from requisition to delivery—ensuring materials and services are procured efficiently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and process purchase orders (POs), LPOs, and contract amendments.

• Source and evaluate quotations from approved local and international vendors.

• Negotiate pricing and terms to achieve cost savings and value optimization.

• Verify material specifications with project BOQs and drawings.

• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Finance, Stores, and Logistics for timely deliveries.

• Track delivery schedules, ensure invoicing accuracy, and maintain vendor databases.

• Prepare weekly procurement status, delivery, and cost tracking reports.

• Support ISO/QA compliance audits and annual supplier performance reviews.

• Maintain proper documentation and records of RFQs, POs, and approvals.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or similar discipline.

• 1–3 years of procurement experience (preferably in the construction industry).

• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and strong Excel skills.

• Understanding of Incoterms, customs clearance procedures, and UAE VAT laws.

• Ability to read technical drawings and confirm materials match project specifications.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

• Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).

• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
