About the Role

Join the prestigious Grosvenor House team in Dubai as a Receiving Clerk, where you’ll play a vital part in ensuring the efficient receipt, inspection, and storage of all goods entering the property. In this role, you will help maintain high standards of quality, cleanliness, and inventory accuracy—contributing directly to seamless hotel operations and an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and stage merchandise accurately by department.

• Label, rotate, and store deliveries—especially perishables—ensuring freshness and quality.

• Reject damaged or incorrect items following strict quality assurance standards.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas, refrigerators, and freezers.

• Monitor stock levels and promptly notify supervisors of low inventory.

• Process requisition forms for inventory replenishment.

• Safely remove and dispose of pallets, packaging, and trash.

• Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and handling protocols.

• Collaborate with co-workers and departments to ensure timely delivery of items.

• Report accidents, unsafe conditions, or hazards to the supervisor immediately.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• Experience: No prior experience required—training will be provided.

• Skills:

  • Ability to read and verify detailed information.

  • Capable of lifting and moving items up to 50 pounds.

  • Able to stand, walk, climb stairs, and maneuver through narrow or uneven surfaces during the shift.

• Other: Clean, professional appearance and willingness to follow company grooming standards.
