Role Overview:

We are seeking a strategic and experienced MV Engineering Excellence Lead Engineer – Manager to drive electrical engineering process transformation and innovation across the EMEA region. This leadership role focuses on enhancing digitization, process standardization, and cross-functional collaboration, aligning with Eaton’s global sustainability and operational excellence goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a strategic vision to improve digitization and automation in electrical engineering processes

• Lead the implementation of E-Plan and other engineering tools across multi-site operations, integrated with Bid Manager platforms

• Establish standardized electrical engineering workflows for Engineer-to-Order (ETO) and Assemble-to-Order (ATO) operations

• Build a cohesive electrical engineering ecosystem involving Product Management, R&D, Bid Teams, CSOs, Partners, and Customers

• Create configurable and customer-focused typical electrical schematics and drawings

• Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to drive continuous improvement

• Present change proposals to senior leadership and gain strategic buy-in

• Lead and mentor regional engineering teams; deploy standardized tools to improve lead time and quality performance

• Align engineering focus with sales growth initiatives, ensuring customer satisfaction through digitized engineering interfaces

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

• 8–10 years of experience in electrical schematic design (preferably industrial systems)

• 3–5 years of leadership/management experience

• Strong knowledge of E-Plan, Elcad, or similar schematic tools

• Experience in Low & Medium Voltage electrical systems, including switchgear, UPS, batteries, relays, SCADA, transformers, and automation

• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP), Six Sigma, ISO 9001, and Pro Launch methodologies

• Proven ability to manage global engineering tools and process rollouts

• Advanced command of English

Preferred Skills:

• Project engineering or R&D experience with Eaton products or in the power distribution industry

• Customer-focused mindset in ATO/ETO project environments

• Strategic leadership in digitization initiatives and technical innovation

• Commercial acumen and cross-functional collaboration skills
