Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hospital Operations Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of clinical and non-clinical operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, patient satisfaction, and the implementation of strategic growth initiatives. The ideal candidate has deep experience in Dubai’s healthcare sector, strong leadership capabilities, and a sharp eye for performance improvement and cost optimization.


Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight & Compliance

  • Lead and manage daily hospital operations across clinical, administrative, and support departments.

  • Ensure full compliance with DHA regulations and JCI accreditation standards.

  • Oversee HIS implementation and ensure digital tools are leveraged for data-driven decisions and improved patient outcomes.

Strategic & Quality Improvement

  • Develop and execute strategic operational plans aligned with organizational goals and Dubai healthcare regulations.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive initiatives to improve patient flow, service quality, and resource efficiency.

  • Collaborate with leadership on business continuity planning and emergency preparedness.

Financial & Resource Management

  • Work with the finance team to prepare and monitor operational budgets.

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through workflow optimization and vendor negotiations.

  • Approve purchase requests, control departmental expenses, and support growth of revenue-generating services (e.g., surgeries, diagnostics, clinics).

Patient Experience & Team Engagement

  • Champion patient safety and satisfaction through effective complaint resolution and service excellence programs.

  • Collaborate with HR to drive staff engagement, training, and performance development.

  • Foster a collaborative environment with department heads for continuous service improvement.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or related field (mandatory)

  • Master’s in Hospital Administration (MHA) or MBA in Healthcare Management (preferred)

  • 8–12 years of experience in hospital operations, with leadership roles in Dubai or UAE

  • Proficient in Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and MS Office Suite

  • Knowledge of DHA compliance, JCI standards, and healthcare quality frameworks
