Job Title: Procurement Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Procurement Engineer to lead and manage end-to-end procurement activities for our operations in Dubai. Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Procurement Strategy:

• Design and implement effective procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals

• Continuously assess market trends to optimize supply chain performance

🔹 Supplier & Vendor Management:

• Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors

• Ensure supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, and service

🔹 Contract Negotiation & Risk Mitigation:

• Negotiate prices, terms, and service-level agreements

• Ensure procurement decisions balance cost savings and risk reduction

🔹 Cost Control & Analysis:

• Monitor spending patterns and identify cost-saving opportunities

• Conduct market and competitive analysis for benchmarking

🔹 Inventory & Logistics Collaboration:

• Work with inventory teams to maintain optimal stock levels

• Avoid overstocking or shortages by aligning procurement with real-time needs

🔹 Compliance & Ethics:

• Ensure all procurement processes comply with local and international standards

• Adhere to ethical sourcing and procurement practices

🔹 Team Leadership:

• Lead and mentor procurement staff to drive performance and process improvements

🔹 Reporting & Metrics:

• Deliver actionable insights through procurement performance reports

• Track KPIs such as cost savings, supplier reliability, and lead times

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)

• Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, or CPM are an added advantage

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in procurement and supply chain roles

• Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and leadership skills

• Proficient in procurement and ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Coupa

• Fluent in written and spoken communication; Arabic fluency is a plus
