Job Title: MEP Draughtsman 

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented MEP Draughtsman to support the preparation of high-quality mechanical and electrical service drawings for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, power, drainage, and lighting systems. The ideal candidate will be the crucial link between the design and site teams, with strong experience in interior fit-out projects and technical detailing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare shop/detail drawings and as-built drawings for mechanical and electrical systems including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, lighting, and water supply

• Develop MEP coordination drawings in alignment with structural, architectural, and interior design elements

• Ensure compliance with local and international standards in all layouts

• Create schematic diagrams, isometric layouts, and sectional details

• Perform duct sizing calculations based on airflow data

• Coordinate closely with the site team and interior designers to communicate design requirements

• Maintain up-to-date electronic and manual records for project documentation

• Ensure accuracy and quality of all finished drawings

• Possess knowledge of fit-out detailing and site-based construction communication

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Draughtsman in MEP and fit-out projects

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and PDF tools

• Basic understanding of architecture, interior design, and cross-discipline coordination

• Knowledge of local codes and regulations related to MEP and fit-out works

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team coordination

• Fluency in English is essential; multilingual ability is a plus
