Position: Appointed Person – Lifting Operations

Salary: AED 35,000 – 39,000 per month (all-inclusive) + Flights, Family Medical, Visa, and Gratuity

Project Overview:
Join one of the largest construction projects in Dubai, involving 40 tower cranes, 12,000 workers, over 60,000 precast elements, and 1 million+ cubic meters of earthworks. With a total build cost of approximately £800 million, this is a high-pressure, high-performance environment that demands technical excellence and strong leadership.

Role Overview:
As the Appointed Person – Lifting, you will oversee all crane operations for a third of the site. You’ll lead lifting activities, coordinate with subcontractors, ensure safety compliance, and provide strategic lifting solutions. You’ll work closely with the Area Logistics Manager and Head of Lifting to deliver on time and within safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee crane positioning and lifting operations across a major project zone.

• Lead investigations for any lifting-related incidents.

• Ensure all crane certifications and lifting plans meet compliance standards.

• Create and assess CAD-based lifting plans.

• Maintain records, documentation, and ensure planning aligns with project schedules.

• Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to lifting teams.

• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and team collaboration.

Candidate Requirements:

• 3–4 years of lifting experience on major projects.

• Valid CPCS Appointed Persons: Lifting Operations (A61) certification.

• Additional certifications such as LEEA, NPORS, or OSHA preferred.

• Proven track record of loyalty, progression, and leadership in previous roles.

• Able to start before 1st September.

• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.

• Willing to work a flexible 6-day or 11-day fortnight schedule depending on project needs.
