Deloitte is hiring an Audit & Assurance Manager for its Accounting & Reporting Advisory (ARA) practice in the UAE. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for experienced professionals with a strong background in technical accounting, IFRS, and financial reporting advisory. The successful candidate will lead client engagements, manage teams, and contribute to strategic initiatives across Deloitte’s service lines.
Responsibilities:
– Lead and manage accounting and reporting advisory engagements.
– Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions (e.g., M&A, financial instruments, consolidations).
– Assist clients with financial statement preparation, IFRS impact assessments, and audit readiness.
– Collaborate with Tax, Financial Advisory, and Consulting teams on multi-disciplinary projects.
– Develop and maintain client relationships, manage deliverables, and identify new opportunities.
– Participate in proposal development and business growth initiatives.
– Supervise and mentor staff, conduct performance reviews, and support team development.
– Contribute to training, thought leadership, and service innovation.
Requirements:
– Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
– Certifications: CPA, CA, or ACCA required.
– Experience:
– Minimum 8 years in public accounting or technical advisory.
– At least 4 years in team management and client engagement leadership.
– Skills:
– Strong knowledge of IFRS and technical accounting.
– Excellent report writing, presentation, and communication skills.
– Ability to manage multiple engagements and work independently.
– Experience in financial close processes, internal controls, and structuring accounting.
– Willingness to travel up to 50%.
