Lazard, a global leader in financial advisory and asset management, is hiring an M&A Vice President to join its newly opened Abu Dhabi office, serving clients across the UAE and the Middle East. This hybrid, full-time role is ideal for a seasoned investment banking professional with at least 6 years of experience in M&A or ECM. The Vice President will manage public and private deals, lead client engagements, support business development, and mentor junior team members.
Responsibilities:
– Manage public and private M&A transactions.
– Interact with senior client executives and build trusted relationships.
– Supervise and guide Associates and Analysts.
– Support origination and business development initiatives.
– Review financial models and analyses.
– Draft client presentations and marketing materials.
– Contribute to team management, including recruitment and junior development.
Requirements:
– Experience: Minimum 6 years in Investment Banking, Corporate M&A, or ECM at a Tier 1 institution.
– Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams and foster a positive team culture.
– Skills:
– Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities.
– Excellent verbal and written communication.
– Ability to manage multiple transactions and projects simultaneously.
– Client Focus: Strong client-facing and presentation skills.
– Regional Knowledge: Experience in the UAE or Middle East is required.
