Job Title: General Physician 

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate General Physician to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will take the lead in evaluating newly referred patients, conducting comprehensive assessments, managing inpatient care through ward rounds, and collaborating with healthcare professionals and families to deliver optimal treatment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Patient Evaluation & Diagnosis

• Assess newly referred patients by obtaining detailed medical histories and performing thorough physical examinations.

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to support accurate diagnoses and formulate effective treatment plans.

• Diagnose and manage both adult and pediatric patients with an understanding of age-specific care needs.

🔹 Inpatient Ward Rounds & Treatment Management

• Conduct regular ward rounds to monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and coordinate care with the medical team.

• Clearly document and report patient conditions, treatment responses, and follow-up needs.

• Communicate effectively with families about diagnoses, prognosis, and care strategies.

🔹 Team Collaboration & Communication

• Coordinate with specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals to provide integrated patient care.

• Actively participate in multidisciplinary meetings to align treatment goals and optimize outcomes.

• Provide recommendations on medication, therapies, and necessary interventions.

🔹 Emergency & Airway Management

• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in airway management and provide emergency care, particularly in cases of respiratory distress.

• Mentor junior staff on critical care protocols and airway techniques.

🔹 Post-Discharge Care & Follow-Up

• Ensure continuity of care through follow-up consultations, medication management, and referrals to outpatient services.

• Update treatment plans based on follow-up assessments and patient progress.

🔹 Leadership, Education & Documentation

• Provide clinical support and guidance to junior doctors and interns.

• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.

• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive care.

• Keep abreast of current medical practices through professional development and ongoing education.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree with active licensure

• Experience in both pediatric and adult general medicine

• Strong diagnostic, communication, and patient management skills

• Ability to handle critical care and emergency situations

• Team-oriented with a patient-first approach
