Job Title: Head of Air Cargo Operations 

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic professional to take charge as Head of Air Cargo Operations in the UAE, based in Dubai. In this leadership role, you will oversee and manage all aspects of air cargo operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and business growth in one of the region’s most critical logistics hubs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all air cargo airline operations within the UAE

• Develop and implement effective business strategies to drive market share and profitability

• Build strong relationships with airlines, freight forwarders, logistics providers, and key stakeholders

• Ensure full compliance with IATA, GCAA, and all local aviation regulations

• Identify new business opportunities and lead expansion efforts

• Enhance logistics processes, cargo handling systems, and operational performance

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and P&L for cargo operations

• Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing operations team

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• In-depth knowledge of air cargo operations, freight forwarding, and supply chain logistics

• Expertise in IATA and GCAA regulatory frameworks

• Sharp business acumen and strategic thinking

• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder engagement abilities

• Financial management, including budget control and performance monitoring

• Experience in using cargo management systems and modern logistics technology

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Aviation, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred)

• Minimum 10 years of experience in air cargo operations

• Proven track record in business development and client relationship management
