Safety Officer


Emirates Logistics LLC is seeking a Safety Officer to oversee and coordinate all Health & Safety (H&S) matters within the facility. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with safety regulations, conduct inspections, and promote a strong safety culture among employees.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all H&S-related matters in the facility.
- Prepare and maintain H&S checklists.
- Ensure workers wear proper PPE and follow safety protocols.
- Conduct daily facility rounds to identify hazards and abnormalities.
- Maintain discipline and harmony in coordination with supervisors and management.
- Report any indiscipline or dishonest conduct by workers.
- Conduct periodic H&S training and safety awareness sessions.
- Record and maintain incident and accident reports.
- Inspect and maintain safety equipment and tools.
- Manage first aid kits and provide first aid to staff when needed.
- Lead emergency evacuation drills and ensure emergency exits are well maintained.
- Monitor high-risk activities and implement waste management systems.
Skills Required:
- NEBOSH / IOSH certification.
- Strong attention to detail and risk analysis skills.
- Excellent people management and discipline handling abilities.
- Self-disciplined in upholding safety culture within the organization.
- Proactive and a team player with a dedication to continuous improvement.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
