Senior Accountant – Real Estate Development

The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping financial operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering financial insights that drive strategic decisions. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage financial statements: Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports

• Track project costs and budgets, ensuring efficient spend across departments

• Ensure VAT compliance and handle periodic filing and submissions

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and payment tracking

• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and tax advisors

• Generate financial forecasts and profitability reports for real estate projects

• Maintain internal financial controls and support senior leadership with data-driven analysis

• Stay compliant with UAE financial and real estate regulations

• Collaborate with procurement and project teams to monitor material and labor cost efficiency

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 3–5 years of UAE experience in real estate, property development, or construction

• Solid knowledge of UAE taxation and VAT laws

• Proficiency in accounting tools (QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or ERP systems)

• Strong Excel skills for financial modeling and reporting

• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently

• Effective communication skills and ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
