QA/QC Civil Engineer

We are looking for a QA/QC Civil Engineer to join our progressive construction team in Dubai. You will play a key role in maintaining the highest quality standards across all civil engineering works, ensuring strict adherence to project specifications, safety regulations, and UAE construction codes. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to iconic developments in a rapidly expanding market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement comprehensive QA/QC plans, procedures, and inspection protocols for civil works.

  • Perform regular site inspections, quality audits, and material verifications to ensure compliance with design and regulatory standards.

  • Review and evaluate technical drawings, specifications, and method statements.

  • Monitor the quality performance of subcontractors and site teams, ensuring non-conformities are promptly addressed.

  • Manage testing and inspection of civil materials (e.g., concrete, rebar, soil) through certified labs.

  • Maintain complete documentation of quality records, inspection reports, NCRs, and test results.

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and HSE officers to support overall construction quality.

  • Provide guidance and training to site personnel on quality assurance best practices.

  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies on all matters related to quality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC within the construction industry, preferably on large-scale civil projects.

  • In-depth knowledge of UAE construction codes, QA/QC procedures, and international quality standards.

  • Experience in material testing, inspection tools, and construction methodologies.

  • Strong reporting, communication, and technical problem-solving abilities.

  • ISO 9001 or other quality management certifications are advantageous.

  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and safety compliance.
