Job Description:
bepay is seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Investment Officer (CIO) to lead its capital markets strategy, institutional fundraising, and investment management operations. This executive role is critical in shaping the financial future of a rapidly growing digital finance company positioned at the intersection of fintech and blockchain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the company’s overarching investment and capital strategy.

• Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with venture capital firms, institutional investors, and strategic funding partners.

• Oversee equity fundraising efforts and financing strategies.

• Evaluate mergers, acquisitions, external partnerships, and joint ventures for strategic alignment.

• Deliver detailed investment performance reports to stakeholders and the board.

• Manage treasury operations and oversee the digital asset portfolio in accordance with financial regulations.

• Work cross-functionally with finance, legal, product, and operations teams to inform capital and investment decisions.

• Represent bepay in external investor forums and capital market events.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in investment strategy, venture capital, private equity, corporate development, or asset management.

• Demonstrated success in capital raising, portfolio management, and investment execution.

• Deep understanding of fintech, payments, blockchain, and Web3 ecosystems.

• Proven ability to lead cross-border investment strategies and institutional collaborations.

• Strong skills in financial analysis, modeling, negotiation, and executive communication.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field is required. MBA or CFA designation is highly preferred.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous leadership roles such as CIO, Managing Director, General Partner, or Head of Investments within high-growth financial or technology firms.

• Familiarity with tokenomics, decentralized finance (DeFi), and digital asset regulatory frameworks.

• Comprehensive understanding of global financial regulations pertaining to fintech and blockchain sectors.
