ACCEL Human Resource Consultants, a leading recruitment and executive search firm, is currently hiring a Senior Project Manager to lead complex shipbuilding and repair projects in Dubai. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for a marine engineering professional with robust project management expertise and a deep understanding of shipyard operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle, from strategic planning through execution and delivery. You will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in full compliance with industry standards while effectively managing cross-functional teams and liaising with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end execution of large-scale shipbuilding and repair projects

• Develop and track project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations

• Serve as the main liaison for clients, regulatory bodies, and classification societies

• Proactively identify project risks and implement corrective measures

• Ensure compliance with maritime industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies

• Maintain comprehensive documentation and report progress to senior leadership

• Mentor and support junior team members, promoting a high-performance work culture

• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, operations, and quality departments

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field

• 3–10 years of project management experience in shipbuilding, marine construction, or offshore sectors

• Strong knowledge of shipbuilding operations, equipment, and classification protocols

• Effective leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making capabilities

• Proficient in MS Office and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)

• PMP certification or equivalent (preferred)
