About the Role:

Our client, a leading multinational consultancy, is seeking a Waste Management Consultant with a strong background in delivering waste and environmental solutions for large-scale building projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with top-tier supervision consultants or project management consultancy (PMC) firms on waste infrastructure and building asset waste design.

This is a high-impact role requiring strong technical leadership, excellent client engagement skills, and the ability to manage environmental and waste-related scopes across various projects. This opportunity is initially a 3-month contract with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver waste management consulting services to high-quality standards, meeting client expectations and project timelines

• Lead the design and implementation of waste management infrastructure for new developments

• Manage waste and environmental studies across regional projects, ensuring alignment with local regulations and international best practices

• Identify opportunities for project extensions and repeat business through exceptional service delivery

• Prepare technical reports, proposals, and client documentation as required

• Support the development of sustainable waste strategies, including recycling, treatment technologies, and circular economy initiatives

Qualifications and Experience:

✅ Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Management, Waste Management, or a related field

✅ Professional Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of UAE-based experience in waste management consultancy

• Proven experience in waste infrastructure design and building-level waste systems

• Prior involvement in recycling programs, waste-to-energy, or treatment technologies

• Experience working with recognized supervision consultants or PMC companies

✅ Technical Expertise:

• Deep understanding of solid waste strategies, waste collection systems, and disposal operations

• Familiarity with waste projections, carbon modeling, life-cycle assessments, and sustainable procurement

• Knowledge of global best practices in zero waste to landfill, net-zero initiatives, and circular economy frameworks

✅ Other Skills:

• Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple scopes under tight deadlines

• Strong communication, report writing, and proposal development skills
