About the Role:
Egis is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Site Inspector to oversee and ensure the quality, safety, and compliance of electrical systems on active construction sites in the UAE. This role is essential for maintaining regulatory standards and ensuring the successful delivery of infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect electrical installations and systems to ensure compliance with UAE and international codes and safety standards.

• Review technical electrical drawings, schematics, and project specifications for accuracy and compliance.

• Conduct on-site testing using specialized equipment to verify operational efficiency and safety.

• Document inspection findings, note deficiencies, and recommend corrective actions.

• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and engineers to resolve site-related electrical issues.

• Prepare accurate inspection reports and maintain up-to-date project records.

• Provide input during pre-construction meetings regarding potential electrical challenges.

• Stay informed on current electrical codes, safety protocols, and industry advancements.

• Promote and implement electrical safety best practices across construction sites.

• Ensure strict adherence to UAE electrical regulations and site safety protocols.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical inspection, ideally within the UAE construction industry.

• In-depth understanding of local and international electrical codes and practices.

• Skilled in interpreting electrical schematics, layouts, and technical documents.

• Proficient in inspection tools, testing devices, and MS Office suite.

• Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.

• High attention to detail with a commitment to safety, accuracy, and compliance.

• Flexibility to travel to various construction sites across the UAE.
