About the Role
Position: NEWGEN – People & Culture Trainee
Chalhoub Group is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented People & Culture Trainee to support its SGII and Joint Ventures. This role will involve strategic people initiatives, project management, HR data analysis, and operational support to drive business and people success.
Key Responsibilities
HR Data & Compliance:

Create PO codes and launch job requisitions.

Support onboarding, transfers, and ensure HR system accuracy.

Maintain organizational charts and audit employee data.

Track and manage performance reviews, goal setting, and salary cycles.

Serve as a non-technical contact for HR systems (Power BI, MyChalhoub, Plano, etc.).
HR Reporting & Insights:

Manage manpower budgets and perform variance analysis.

Provide hiring and workforce analytics reports to senior leadership.

Conduct pay parity analyses and recommend adjustments.

Track recruitment data, engagement, and development budgets.

Deliver an annual HR insights newsletter for leadership.
Strategic HR Initiatives:

Track progress on key metrics including diversity, national hiring, and women in leadership.
Project Management & Operations:

Develop workforce planning models and track project milestones.

Collaborate with Group HR and Finance on reporting and budgeting.

Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Optimize HR workflows and ensure standardization of processes.

Maintain up-to-date project and performance tracking dashboards.
