Hyatt is seeking a detail-oriented Materials Clerk to join their team in Dubai. This full-time, on-site role involves managing inventory receipt, verification, and record-keeping to support efficient operations across procurement, warehousing, and food production departments. The Materials Clerk plays a key role in minimizing inventory wastage and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while supporting accurate financial reporting related to inventory usage.
Key Responsibilities:

Verify data entry accuracy from procurement and operating departments.

Receive and record inventory and non-inventory items accurately.

Ensure timely forwarding of items to respective warehouses and departments.

Support food production teams to minimize wastage, spoilage, and shrinkage.

Communicate requests for received items to Stores and ensure availability.

Allocate received items to the correct accounting period.

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of loading docks and surrounding areas.

Assist in preparation of financial reports related to cost of sales and inventory expenses.

Audit inventory transactions and initiate authorized adjustments.

Monitor and record sponsorships, rebates, and inventory adjustments.

Foster cooperation and team spirit within the department and related divisions.
Skills & Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or certification in supply chain/hospitality is a plus.

1-2 years of experience in inventory, warehousing, or purchasing, preferably within the hospitality or luxury hotel industry.

Proficient in inventory software (e.g., OPERA, MICROS, PMS/ERP systems) and MS Office applications such as Excel and Word.
