Located in Downtown Dubai, it is a renowned destination for elite guests and luxury experiences.

Job Overview:
SLS Dubai is currently hiring a Mandarin-speaking Telephone Operator to handle guest communications and service coordination via the switchboard. This role ensures all telephone interactions are managed professionally and efficiently while upholding high service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming and outgoing calls using the hotel switchboard system.

• Fulfill guest wake-up call requests and inform Security in case of non-response.

• Provide and charge for inland and international guest calls.

• Update guest messages in the Opera system and activate pagers as needed.

• Take and place room service orders accurately, repeating orders for verification.

• Build rapport with regular guests and address their communication needs.

• Maintain telephone equipment and report issues to the supervisor.

• Read and follow daily operations instructions, staff and guest updates.

• Support special projects or tasks as assigned by the department or management.

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of experience in a public contact role, preferably in a luxury or lifestyle hotel.

• Strong command of Mandarin and English (verbal and written).

• Excellent communication, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.

• Familiarity with hotel communication systems (e.g., Opera).

• Professional, friendly, and polished demeanor.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
