Job Summary:
Waldorf Astoria DIFC is seeking a dedicated Guest Relations Agent (Personal Concierge) to deliver a luxurious guest experience from pre-arrival through post-departure. This role is vital in ensuring VIP and True Waldorf Guests receive personalized, attentive service and memorable interactions throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities:

Review arrival reports to identify VIP and True Waldorf Service Guests; coordinate with Housekeeping for suitable room assignments.

Reach out to guests before arrival via email and phone to determine preferences, special needs, and arrival times.

Manage special room assignments, including suites and VIP arrangements.

Personally welcome guests during check-in, escort them to their rooms, and explain amenities and services.

Ensure guest rooms are prepared with the requested amenities and meet the highest cleanliness and presentation standards.

Maintain the Guest Relations desk in the hotel lobby as the primary contact point for VIP and Waldorf Guests.

Liaise with all hotel departments to ensure seamless delivery of personalized services based on guest preferences.

Keep track of guest amenities inventory and ensure timely replenishment.

Stay updated on hotel offerings, pricing, promotions, VIP arrivals, and special events.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Prior experience in a guest relations or concierge role, preferably in luxury hospitality.

Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Detail-oriented, calm, and efficient in a high-pressure environment.

Strong multitasking ability and customer service focus.

Proficiency in hotel management systems and basic computer applications.

Proven ability to handle sensitive guest requests with diplomacy and professionalism.

Experience in conflict resolution and cash handling is a plus.
