Job Description:

Our award-winning interior design consultancy is seeking an experienced Design Coordinator to join their dynamic team in Dubai. This permanent, direct-hire position focuses on coordinating high-profile hospitality interior projects across the Emirates. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in managing interior design workflows within UAE-based consultancies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate interior design activities across all project phases, ensuring alignment with client goals and schedules.

• Assist in developing design concepts, mood boards, material selections, and client presentations.

• Prepare, organize, and update design drawings, specifications, and schedules accurately.

• Facilitate communication and collaboration between design teams, consultants, suppliers, and contractors to maintain smooth project progress.

• Monitor project deliverables and timelines, proactively following up with stakeholders.

• Maintain sample libraries and stay updated on design trends, products, and materials.

• Support quality control by reviewing site installations for adherence to design intent.

• Assist in preparing documentation for authority approvals and tender submissions.

• Manage and archive all project design documentation systematically.

• Attend site meetings and design reviews, producing minutes and action items for follow-up.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.

• Minimum 5 years of design/project coordination experience, including at least 2 years in interior design or architectural firms.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office; Revit knowledge is a plus.

• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.

• Detail-oriented with solid knowledge of interior design principles and materials.

• Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Familiarity with UAE local authority regulations and building codes is an advantage.
