We are currently expanding our global roster and seeking a Risk Management Expert to join our permanent consulting pool for future assignments. This is a remote, project-based contract opportunity, with a focus on operations across Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. The selected expert will contribute to strategic planning, risk mitigation, and safety operations across development and humanitarian projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Security Risk Management

• Conduct comprehensive security risk assessments and design mitigation strategies.

• Develop and implement security frameworks, policies, and SOPs.

• Monitor and analyze regional threats; provide strategic guidance to leadership.

• Ensure compliance with international security standards.

• Lead the design and execution of security training programs.

Crisis and Emergency Response

• Formulate crisis response plans and manage incident protocols.

• Lead emergency operations and liaise with key stakeholders during crises.

• Conduct post-incident evaluations to refine response strategies.

• Provide travel and evacuation guidance, and collaborate with authorities and networks for enhanced response.

Operational Security & Business Continuity

• Design business continuity strategies for operational resilience.

• Advise on access control, surveillance, and other physical security measures.

• Conduct security audits of project sites and facilities.

• Support capacity building for both local and international teams.

Delivering Security Training

• Develop and deliver context-specific training in security awareness and risk management.

• Organize drills and simulations for field teams in high-risk areas.

• Offer mentorship and guidance on emergency preparedness and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in Security Management, Risk Management, International Relations, or related fields.

• 7–10 years of professional experience in security, risk, or crisis management roles.

• Strong knowledge of security protocols and international frameworks (e.g., INSO, ISO 31000, HSE).

• Demonstrated experience in high-risk, humanitarian, or development settings.

• Proficient in English; additional languages (Arabic, French, Spanish) are a plus.

• Professional certifications (HEAT, SRMC, SRMP, etc.) are highly desirable.
