Key Responsibilities:

• Take guest orders for in-room dining and suggest food and beverage pairings

• Coordinate with kitchen and staff to ensure timely and smooth delivery of orders

• Maintain accurate communication with guests and assist with special requests (VIP amenities, dietary preferences)

• Use POS systems for order processing and billing, following hotel policies

• Engage with guests warmly and attentively to ensure a personalized experience

• Prepare the mise-en-place and maintain office supplies for the team

• Uphold Mandarin Oriental Legendary Quality Experiences (LQEs) and create memorable moments for guests

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an order taker or in F&B roles in luxury hotels

• High school qualification required; a diploma or degree in Hospitality/Hotel/Business Management is preferred

• Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus

• Proficient in POS systems and basic computer skills (MS Office)

• Articulate phone etiquette and good knowledge of food and beverage offerings

• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to multitask and organize effectively

• Physically fit and flexible, with the ability to work varied shifts
