Securitas USA Northeast Region is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer for the Swing / Grave shift. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for former military or law enforcement personnel and experienced candidates who value integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness. In this position, you will play a key role in safeguarding property, people, and information while delivering high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet clients, employees, and visitors while issuing badges and logging entries

• Conduct foot patrols and monitor site entrances/exits, ensuring safety and identifying hazards

• Perform deep cleaning around designated areas and maintain an orderly work environment

• Complete daily activity, incident reports, and logs using the client system

• Provide direction and assistance to vendors, drivers, and site personnel, ensuring a professional image

• Respond to emergencies, using effective judgment and escalation procedures when required

• Secure and protect evidence or incident scenes, and set up barriers or signage as needed

• Adhere to all established safety, compliance, and security protocols

Candidate Requirements:

Experience & Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older; High School Diploma or GED required

• Previous military, law enforcement, or security experience is highly preferred

• Proven ability to conduct patrols, remain vigilant, and maintain attention to detail

• Strong conflict resolution, de-escalation skills, and excellent customer service

• Intermediate computer and technology skills for report and log submission

• Must possess a personal vehicle, a valid Colorado Driver’s License, and a clean driving record

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Pueblo Guard Card license

• Must be flexible with shift timings: Available for Swing / Grave shifts (Thurs–Fri: 2 PM–10 PM and Sat–Sun: 10 PM–6 AM)

• Willingness to participate in background checks and attend in-person interviews and orientation (if required)
